Julie Bale - Choral Director

After a lifelong interest in Choral music  and many hundreds of happy hours spent both singing in choirs and directing them, Julie took the decision to train formally in choral conducting with the Sing for Pleasure organisation, led by Manvinder Rattan. Her experience as a singer is a great asset to her choirs and choral directing is one of the most enjoyable parts of her career portfolio.

She founded and conducted The Whitmore Choir early in her career in the 1990s , a choir who reached the finals of "The Dreamcoat Choral Challenge" at the London Palladium in its first year and then regularly took part in the finals of the NYFM Festival at the Southbank Centre.

After a break to devote time to her singing career, She is enjoying building a reputation again as a Choral Director.  She has directed the St. Matthew's Youth Choir since January 2015 and in January 2017 she took up the tenure of the North Middlesex Federation Townswomen's Guild Choir.
